Where are you located?

We have two locations: 

  • Ankole Kilimani (Google Map) - Senteu Plaza Ground Floor at the Junction of Galana / Lenana Road.
  • Ankole Kitisuru (Google Map) - Kitisuru Road, off Peponi Road or Westlands Redhill Road Link.
What COVID 19 precautions are you taking to ensure the safety of your guests?
  • We have demarcated clearly on social distancing of the establishment
  • We have provided hand cleaning and sanitization stations before entering the restaurant
  • We measure every patron’s temperature ensuring its under the 37.7ºC advised by the MOH
  • We measure all our employees and monitor their health daily to ensure that they are all within the provided working standards
Do you accept cash, visa and/or MPESA payments?

We DO NOT accept cash payments.

We accept Visa and MPESA payments.
Inline with MOH protocols, this is one of the ways we can help to ensure your safety.

Do you have an online menu?

You can see some of our menu items on our Food or Drinks page.
However, our menu changes daily, and we encourage you to check our Instagram and Facebook account for the latest items.

Also, please note that we serve slightly different menus at our locations.

How can I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation be calling:

All reservations will be required to pay KSh.1,000 per person deposit to confirm your reservation.
Your pre-paid deposit will be carried forward towards your final bill.

What happens if I am running late for my booking?

Please call us at least 30 minutes before your reservation time to let us know you will be late.

If we don't hear from you, we will hold your table for up to 20 minutes only.

Can I reserve a table for a corporate function/event?

Yes! We have boardrooms and private dining areas in both locations. We can also provide you with a menu package to suit your needs

Do you have conferencing and/or event spaces?

Yes, We have conference rooms and a private event space at our Kitisuru branch.

If I reserve a table for a party, can I bring my own cake?

Yes you can! But don't miss out on our delicious deserts! 

How do I cancel a reservation?

Please call us at least 24 hours before your booking to make a cancellation.

Do you have vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten-free menu options?

If you would like your order delivered please provide the exact address.

  • After placing your order the payable amount will be texted to you.
  • We accept payments via MPESA only for takeaway. NO CASH payments can be made to the rider.
  • Your order will be prepared and sent to you once payment has been completed.
Is Ankole child-friendly? Do you have a kids menu?

Yes! Both locations are child-friendly. We have high-chairs and a kids menu too.

Do you do outside catering?

Sorry, we do not provide catering.

Does Ankole Grill have designated parking for customers?

Yes! We have adequate, safe and FREE parking for our guests.

Do you have outdoor seating?


  • Ankole Kilimani has a covered outdoor patio seating area.
  • Ankole Kitisuru has outdoor seating, covered patio and an open fireplace.

We are in the hospitality business and, no matter what comes our way, we’ve always served safe, high-quality delicious food and drinks in a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment. Our industry leading sanitation procedures have been in practice long before COVID-19/Coronavirus and are ever-evolving to keep our team and our guests safe.

We appreciate your business and want to take this opportunity to highlight the following policies and procedures to keep our staff and every guest safe.

What we are doing:

  • Closely monitoring advice from the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization (WHO).
  • Educating our employees on preventative measures given by the MoH.
  • Increasing the frequency of our cleaning practices, with additional wipe downs of all surfaces including bar area, dining rooms, menus, high touch point items and areas of the restaurant.
  • We are practicing social distancing with guest seating procedure.
  • Providing additional resources to guests and employees including hand sanitizers, extra soap and paper towels in the restrooms.
  • Implementing increased sanitation and hand-washing procedures for all employees.
  • Implementing the wearing of masks by our employees

We are confident that our restaurant is safe and will continue to operate within the specified hours.  So, whether dining in or to-go, you can feel confident in the service provided by our restaurants and staff.
